About the role

As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will take ownership of high-impact initiatives that shape Bolt’s ride-hailing operations and marketplace performance across Slovakia. You will solve complex business challenges, influence strategic decisions and deliver improvements with tangible, real-time impact.

Using data to generate actionable business insights, you will identify growth opportunities, build recommendations and lead initiatives that strengthen supply, demand and the overall driver value proposition. You will collaborate closely with local leadership, regional teams, HQ and cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence and support Bolt’s continued growth in Slovakia.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Own strategic operational initiatives that drive Bolt’s growth and marketplace performance across Slovakia, collaborating closely with local leadership and regional and global teams.

• Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the driver value proposition, grow and retain the supply base, and improve marketplace balance across dedicated Slovak cities.

• Analyse operational and marketplace data to identify trends, risks, root causes and opportunities, translating findings into clear business recommendations and actionable plans.

• Build business cases, define success metrics and monitor KPIs to evaluate the financial and operational impact of initiatives.

• Lead complex cross-functional projects end to end, from problem definition and stakeholder alignment through implementation, performance tracking and continuous improvement.

• Represent the Slovak market in regional and global projects, influence decisions with local insights, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate operational processes.

About you

• You have 4+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, management consulting, business analytics, project management or another fast-paced, data-driven environment.

• You have demonstrated ownership of complex projects or business areas, taking initiatives from problem identification through implementation to measurable results.

• You possess strong analytical and commercial thinking and can translate complex data into structured insights, business cases and practical recommendations.

• You are highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI is a strong advantage.

• You are an effective communicator and stakeholder manager who can work independently, influence decisions and align local, regional and global teams without formal authority.

• You have a relevant university degree, communicate fluently in Slovak and English, and are comfortable using AI and other technologies to improve analysis and operational efficiency.
